SUMMARY
Newmarket Town Council is a forward-looking organisation working for the benefit of the residents of the town.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individual with experience of local council administration to join our team as a deputy town clerk working 30 hours per week.
Flexible working hours negotiable.
Could suit existing clerks looking for extra hours. Salary: £28,486 per annum.
Areas of responsibility will include:
- Assisting and deputising for the town clerk as necessary, including as the proper officer of the council when necessary
- Working with the council team, supporting colleagues and contributing to wider council activities.
