Communities and marketing manger and deputy chief officer
Congleton Town Council
Congleton Town Council is looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated officer who will lead a team of five experienced staff and be responsible for the town council’s:
- Marketing strategy, communications, campaigns, community engagement activities, events and our information centre.
- To promote Congleton as a great place to live, work, visit and do business.
- To promote the town council’s activities and services.
- To lead campaigns for the town council, including those around the climate change emergency, integrated transport, health and wellbeing and accessibility.
- To support the role of the chief officer and deputise when requested.
- Work with the chief officer on projects to regenerate the town and deliver the strategic actions identified in the town council’s business plan or through committees.
- Ensure that the town council is GDPR compliant as the data protection officer.
- Ensure the council adheres to all its constitutional policies and appropriate local government law.
